Dr. Chavan worked on a research paper titled "Role of Hair Follicular Grafting in Aesthetic Hair Restorative Surgery," submitted in October 2006. He also contributed to a journal with the title "A Clinico- Bacteriological Study of Urinary Tract Infection in Surgical Patients," submi tted in May 2002. He published an article as a brief communication titled "Mo dified Safe Technique for Circumcision" in the Indian Journal of Plastic Surg ery, accepted and published in June 2008. Additionally, he co-authored a journ al with Dr. S.P. Bajaj, published in the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery in Jan uary-June 2012, on the topic "Easy Method of Centralized Fixation of Endotrachea l Tube in Cleft Lip Palate Surgery." He presented a paper titled "A Clinical Stud y of Cost Evaluation of Herniorrhaphy in Inguinal Hernia Patients" at the 60th Annual Conference ASICON-2002 held in New Delhi. Workshops and Conferences

He attended and organized APMPCGCON-2022 on 3rd-4th September 2022 at IITM, Gwalior. He also attended APSICON in 2018 at Chandigarh. Dr. Chavan joined the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) instructional course on Technologies in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, body sculpting, and Facial Rejuvenation on 28th-30th November 2004 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He also attended the international tutorial on concepts and advanced aesthetic plastic surgery and workshop of the Indian Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 6th-15th January 2006 at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai. Additionally, he attended the international tutorial on concepts and advanced aesthetic plastic surgery and workshop of the Indian Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 10th-14th January 2007 at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai.
